Ramon G. (Bud) McLeod Editor-in-Chief
Bud has more than 25 years experience in journalism as an editor and reporter for major newspapers and national magazines, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Orange County Register, and Cincinnati Post. Prior to joining MPA Media, he was with IDG's PC World magazine where he was the editor of PCWorld.com and also oversaw the print news and reviews departments.
He currently resides in Southern California and enjoys dog training, high-end audio, and performance cars. He can be reached at rmcleod@mpamedia.com.
Peter W. Crownfield Executive Editor
As executive editor, Peter currently manages production of the company's flagship publication, Dynamic Chiropractic, and its sister publication, DC Canada, while also participating in oversight/production of MPA Media's other publications and Web sites. Peter began his publishing career straight out of college (University of California, Irvine), co-founding the national literary publication Echoes and serving as associate editor from 1992-1997. He is one of the longest tenured members of the MPA Media team (1998-) and has been heavily involved in the development and production of the company's publications, Web sites and other projects in the past decade.
As Senior Associate Editor, Brenda leads the editorial effort for To Your Health and Acupuncture Today. She also writes in-depth cover feature articles for all MPA Media publications. Before coming to MPA Media, she worked as editor-in-chief for Long Beach Magazine. She has written for various media outlets including; The El Paso Times, The Denver Post, The North County Times and The Long Beach Press-Telegram. Brenda earned her BA in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Kathryn has more than a dozen years of journalism experience as a reporter and editor at newspapers, corporate publications and magazines in the Midwest and Southern California. She previously served as the editor of Massage Today from 2005-2008, and returned to MPA Media after a three-year stint as the primary speechwriter and Media Relations Coordinator for an elected official in Orange County, California. Kathryn earned her Bachelor's in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
